It seems nw of the bright line is snow, inside the bright line is mix, se of the bright line is sleet.

Back to moderate snow in North Caldwell ~550 elevation. Was mostly sleet for last 4.5 hours or so.

Mostly, yes. It turned really grainy with some sleet but it is changing back to almost all snow now.

I will never understand, as someone living in a cul-de-sac with nothing in the center, why plows insist on plowing the snow towards the driveways instead of the empty center island. Baffling.

I’ve been on that line for a few hours. Flipping more snow now; winds are up.

Likely an additional 1-2” of snow/sleet. I stopped measuring before at 10”.

When I grew up they'd do a circle and clear near the curb and leave a big pile in the middle. It would be almost impossible to get out of the driveway.

Culdesacs are circular. Plow trucks are big. Plows on those trucks are straight. Nuff said. And yes. Nuff did say that.

Central Park at 10.6". Have a shot at a foot with all the sleet still left. Some around the DC area have 4" of sleet.
