Yep, I keep dropping too. Currently 14.1/9.2 at 9:15 here, eyeballing I'm close to an inch. I'll measure at 9:30.

OK, just checked, exactly 1.0 inch on the snowboard and on the deck at 9:30 pm. Still 14.1/9.2. Flake size has increased at least 50% in last 10 minutes. It ONLY took 5.5 hours to reach an inch.

Interesting. Just out from LWX!!!

"If anything, perhaps some guidance
leans slightly slower in terms of a transitioning to sleet
Sunday morning. However, not buying into that just yet, and
would like to see the 00z guidance roll in with the latest upper
air data around the country. Could be something to watch though,
as a slower onset of sleet in any one given location could make
a significant difference in snow amounts. Will be something to
watch this evening into tonight."

Every single road today that I drove on between MoCo / PG / AA Co's were salted and brine'd to heck. What a waste of tax money, and unfortunate for our small streams.

that's how it's done in this area. the streets are painted white with salt

Thats my bar. An hour or two extra of all snow during heavy precip before the flip is how we hit our high ends
