Well. 21/16, wet bulb of 19…. The sleet/Zr mix continues and I can officially say I have a glaze. Plants coated and the concrete has become a skating rink.

Mostly sleet with some ZR in the Triad. Cars already have a glaze and tree branches felt a little wet and crunchy. Going to be a long storm with ZR already showing up.

I can confirm in the foothills that it’s not drizzle. Actual drops unfortunately.

It’s been sleeting here for 45 ish minutes. Roads have slight coverage. Was hoping for snow but I’ll take sleet vs freezing rain. That may still occur but for now it’s a W.

@Blacksburg Coachyou got that big slug of dark greens and yellows almost at your doorstep. You’ll have to let me know if it’s got any sleet in it, as I’ll have to wait about 25ish min before it gets over to me here. Hoping it’s all snow and produces some big dendrites.

Daughter lives just outside of this but she's in section powered Lexington electric. She said her power goes out more often than Duke's so she's not optimistic. 

There were a lot of outages on the Duke side as well- it seemed like I would get at least a call a week from my PMs about losing power- the wind absolutely rips across there, especially in the spring
