Temp is currently 37 with dp 28. That looks like a cold front? Temp here has fallen to 34f now down from 40f dewpoint from 26f to 24f wind has shifted NNE at 9 mph. Could have been some kind of pre-frontal thing, although if it is a front, it hasn't passed through here yet with any colder air - my temp is still 37 in NW Philly & dp 29. Also looks like we're in a dry slot before the main action begins.

MGorse
Given some of the model guidance 700-850 mb FGEN, there may be multiple heavier narrow bands embedded within the widespread snow shield. These could be somewhat transient though. 2 3

Maybe I'm optimistic, or impatient, lol, but it looks like it's closing in on us from 3 sides - the stuff to the east seems to be trying to build west, what's south of here is working north, and the best looking area to the west is slowly moving east. If this continues I can see snow starting between 8:30 and 9:30? Or between 9 and 10. Forgot the screen shot
Physicsteve
Yes i think the precip should start to blossom as this zips across the mountains and the coastal-y enhancement gets going. Hoping it stays later into the morning but could see the dreaded back edge approaching by dawn, so the earlier the start the better to reach those upper bounds.
