to be clear, i’m not hating on the lead up… few to none got that right.

i’m hating on the in the moment.

I know you know this, but using that wording inept idiots... I understood the grounds for criticism and questioning how it was done and like I said, we could have done one and probably ideally would have farther north.

If I were some rando that just moved here for work and started posting, wouldn't be too excited about posting in the future after seeing that. I obviously know it comes with the territory here, us getting criticized at times.

Man, I am some rando that just moved here for work (well this is my wife’s hometown also). I’ve been called worse things. Most of them justified.

Even after warmer temps, and rain, the snowpack here survived just fine. It's more like a glacier after the warming, and cooling episodes with small snows added. 

A couple more inches forecast for tomorrow into Friday morning.

I came into this thread expecting to see posts weenie-ing out over the surprise 1-3" of snow with near-blizzard conditions (pics included).

Instead, I see nothing but whining about the headlines (or lack thereof).

Don't let know it alls scare you off. I don't ever get the fuss over people in here complaining about lack of headlines or vice versa during events. Most of the public is too stupid to even take any headlines seriously. Someone is still gonna drive home or go about their business whether a snow squall headline was issued or not.

To that point, I can vividly remember being under a moderate risk, and the weather service/media was bangin the drum about it all week. Then I overheard a father and daughter asking each other if it was supposed to rain. I wanted to shake them violently.
