Pretty impressive LE signal on the globals for Wed/Thu, targeting a corridor from NW Indiana into NE Illinois. Probably won’t read deeper into it until Monday, but definitely tuned in.

Yeah. GFS and Euro both have it. GFS has it in more of IL. Euro is more Indiana. Looks like it’ll stay too far to my west but someone is going to cash in if it doesn’t wobble too much.

That’s from about 10 clippers (nickel & dime fashion) through the 21st. So definitely not going to happen.

Somewhat surprisingly, the models keep pushing the main band closer to MBY. Getting interesting now.

Hopefully I'm not reading into it too much but maybe we're up for another round of the old "stack enough snow to survive the next warm up and call the continuous pack 'winter'" game.

The model runs I'm seeing today for late Jan is what I was talking about here for the potential I see in my own modelling method. Cold with clippers, but Western energy sliding in too, shaking things up. A bit of both would make for a wild month. And it looks like right into early March as well. For me, tho, that means mostly CAD, which sucks, as we really need the precip. Oct thru present has been slim on the moisture.

GFS moves the main band over South Bend. I'm all in. 12"+ or bust.
