They make a boatload of money from "side" events such as tours, concerts, football, soccer, and numerous other events. I once attended a focus group at Fenway. The focus group was held in one of the boxes. I am sure it wasn't cheap to rent the box.

Typhoon Tip
Frankly ... no social media should be preferential for information source people. None, or very little of it, regardless of the outlet, has been reviewed and adjudicated. You may have some social media spaces that are less corrupting - unfortunately, even the best, well-intended sources are still prefiltered subjective stews of untested, perhaps well-articulated "accidental gaslighting". This is a beautiful expose' going on, right here, right now, demonstrating the perils of creating a faux reality constructivism that is unguided, and is thus more of a destructive force in the common threading that holds a society together - by believing the social media is better than verified, refereed and/or adjudication, shows a break down in the common trust that is vital to former health of civility. There is also an element of not knowing any better - 50% of the population density is just stupidly naive and for lack of better word, gullible to believe whatever jerks their strings. Social media is at best a tongue in cheek distraction from the pacing of the real, which exists outside of blue screen technology's frenetic button pushing chode tugging. But groups of humanity are apparently, morbidly, substantiating it all; and their beliefs caught up in the fuckery and baseless because of it. 1

AIGFS has us near 60 on the 26th/27th.

Looks warm right up through the north shore and SE NH. Bring on the 60s. I’d rather that than whatever this nonsense we are tracking is. Nice weather to hang with family and friends
ORH_wxman
Ggem Is a really nice shot of snow for interior. Prob 2-3”. SE areas are prob cooked after an initial burst perhaps. Hard to keep it frozen on S winds.

I would take flakes in the air and wintry appeal but losing that it seems. Ah well.

If we can trend the 23rd just a little more south/colder like skynet, then it would be pretty nice for most folks and probably slightly juicier amounts.

ORH_wxman
12/26 is looking warmer and warmer the last 2-3 cycles too which kind of sucks. Except Euro Skynet which is frigid.

Just hope it doesn’t warm up anymore, because you’ll be cooked if it does.

Im over it, we’ve manufactured ways to fail around this time over the last 15 years. Even Scott I think has managed a couple. weathafella
The problem is that the next 1-2 weeks feature opportunities only when northern stream systems pass south of us bringing enough of the Canadian icebox to snow on SNE. Then said systems blow up in the Atlantic but don’t curl up closing the door on the cold and allowing warmth to return in relatively short order. I did see improvements in the 11-15 on last night’s eps so January should offer hope of it holds.
Snowcrazed71
But you said north of the pike, and then one of your other posts... You specifically said thie Tuesday event is only good for NNE. Listen... Yes, it sucks to not get that Wintry weather around the holidays. But, you also live in a region that unfortunately has the kind of Climo that doesn't support many Snow events before January. Hold out a little bit longer and I truly feel you will do better for January and February.
