Yeah it’s the first storm of the season so I think people are naturally getting a little too hooked on each model run…it’s still 5 days out. It’s not like we’re 72 hours out.

Foxboro also has a bit of elevation on avg than the Silver City. You could definitely live on a hill though.

I’m pretty far away from there, im Speaking of my actual location on the Easton line. he probably averages a little more, but I guess it’s well under 5”. TauntonBlizzard2013
For reference, as the crow flies, Taunton airport is about 8.5 miles se of me, and East xoxborough is about 5.5 to 6 miles west of me.

He’s probably 6-7 miles as the crow Flies Oh well he’s probably right then. The ceiling isn’t that high here anyways, so I’ll root for the north even if it means I get nothing. I gotta root against Tblizz here, nothing against the guy but he’s been super negative and made comparisons to previous winters. Don’t get me wrong, being negative in this setup is completely logical. The high is leaving, which is a huge limitation. I just don’t agree with comparing to previous winters. dendrite
He said Brett lives in the ocean and won’t snow because it’s not winter yet when he lives under 10 miles away. Sorry, but that’s funny. No one is debating long term averages.

My snow weather is a lot closer to focborough than it is like lakeville middleoboro etc etc.

As you know, where I was on the polar opposite side of Taunton, my winter climate was vastly different than yours or butterfish’s. That area has a distinct marine boundary that sets up many times in storms. It’s nothing personal, just reality.

Best example would be Dec 2012 event.
