but still, never seen a hurricane do an EC run thru a ridge and no steering field actually conducting it to do so in the first place. 

I feel that's beta drift in the model.  If push came to shove I'd be forced to bet that a heat wave pattern from the OV-NE region sets the table for a Cane to do a Gulf o/mex entrance

I’m thinking some places do it Monday through Friday.  Maybe even Sunday-Friday

 My guess is the Merrimack valley. They have been hot all summer.

We're passing out of the solar max this weekend.   It's going to get harder to get an official heat wave as the month ages onward.  We've seen 90+ in early September, so heat can happen.. .but getting 3 days consecutive?  sooner rather than later is climate preferred and for a reason.  

I wonder what  is the latest official heat wave ( 3 consec days) to have occurred.    Big heat ( > 95 F) ...I think I've seen that two or three times post Aug 20th.

Best fuel for molotov cocktails is diesel.  Spreads flames and doesn’t explode in your face as soon as you light it.  

if you only have gasoline, and alternative method is to get some styrofoam and mix it with the gas until you get kind of slurry/gelatin.  This is essentially napalm - well lets just call it for what it is:  its actual Napalm.  Don’t get it on you.  It is sticky af.  You cannot put it out either until its done burning.  I think there is enough O in the styrofoam to keep it going even submerged.  Very nasty but effective.  It also will not explode as easily if mixed properly, so safer than molotov with gas (if safety is a priority). 

I would reserve these remedies for only the most stubborn wasps.  Basic brake cleaner is super effective without even lighting it!  Go with that first.

Yeah I will probably stay away from the napalm. Did not know brake cleaner was effective. Going to give it a shot tomorrow I have plenty. Might even try Dawn dishwashing soap apparently it drowns them or dries them out afterwards.
