very similar to here, hovering between 91-92 after a high of 94 about 30 minutes ago.

I wonder if the primary turnout for tomorrow will be suppressed because it will be the peak of the heat?

mail in turnout has been pretty high though, especially in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

I think there’s a little downsloping at play here too, I’m north of the terminal moraine which is over 300 feet in elevation, I know it’s nothing compared to other parts of the region, but what goes up must come down.

Yep, that might be happening here too, the wind direction must be changing a lot, which keeps me bouncing up and down between 94 and 90

Well the 12Z Euro has 101 degrees in eastern Queens for 2PM, I've been sitting at 95 degrees for a couple hours, so not happening.

It also has 103 degrees around the LGA area and Manhattan/Bronx  hahahaha

Needless to say the Euro was way too hot for today.

No downslope component like there might be for tomorrow. I’m a little surprised we didn’t cool down more since water temp at Jones Beach is only 65.
