Final June numbers:

More top 10 monthly warmth around the area. Islip and Sussex, NJ recorded their warmest Junes on record. Since the new 1991-2020 climate normals are so warm, all it took was a +3.2 at Islip and +3.4 at Sussex.

Exactly the same here. Storms generally fizzled on approach (what else is new), but glad to have a decent soaking given the dry June.

Looked at my station gauge, 1.66 grand total with last night. That initial rain was a little nw of you for the heaviest I believe.  At one point my gauge registered 3.85"/hr

Skies are starting to darken by me. Mets have postponed their game for tonight, so I guess they are expecting enough rain to come thru Flushing Queens this evening. I would not mind a good thunderstorm.
