There's a bit of a difference in timing between models. GFS is 9-12z Sunday, meanwhile Euro is 0-6z Monday. Probably just noise at this point, but I'd imagine we would want an earlier onset

I agree. And I'm not totally kidding when I say they're "bad for the weenie brain". I think that they set unrealistic subconscious expectations...making the disappointment of the reality worse if it doesn't measure up. I'm more in the camp of not using them until you're within 48 hours.

I think there is something to this honestly. Better off not going for the easy button. That applies to everything.
