Upstate/Eastern New York-Pattern Change Vs Tughill Curse?

Recommended Posts

Pattern is definitely looking quite active from this point forward for the next several weeks. Looks like wintry risks and not a "total shutout" until March like some discussion had been on. Looks like into next week is a transition period of warmups with fronts and snow behind them..and then perhaps a pretty solid transition back to winter for a couple weeks?

We are up to 41° here with mostly cloudy skies...

It's been a month full of 40s. Pretty impressive how the low dewpoints have helped the snow to survive. It really puts into perspective how winters are out west with the skiing conditions. Temps in the 40s but low dewpoints makes a big difference in snow pack survival.

Agreed…makes it look like a wave runner. GFS still brings the goods

Not really they look pretty similar. Looks like a ton of rain followed by a little freezing rain, then sleet, and 1-2” of snow. Actually looking forward to these warm temps. It feels so good to go outside and not be freezing cold.
