This is crazy. Even Meigs got an advisory. I can’t believe McMinn, Bradley, or Monroe got an advisory.

Its killing me because I wanted the whole state to be under something. I think it lasted happened 6 years ago.

Same here in Union City, picked up an inch so far...coming down at a pretty good rate too. If we avoid any dry slot/dry air, we could pick up a few more inches

I'm just wondering how long I'm going to have virga. Seems to have gotten to the ground quickly down Shawn's way if he already had some sleet.

I didn't have virga very long maybe about 45 minutes, but it's still being eaten by dry air it's very very light sleet like pellets here and there.

Puking sleet just north of Birmingham (Cullman, Al), ground completely covered...Huntsville has transitioned to all snow in the city.

Huntsville just added a few more counties into the warning area.

Not sure how much relevance this has for the valley. Cullman is on the west side of the plateau and has more access to low level cold air than we do.

Yes. And west of southern portions of the plateau. There are no topographical barriers to the west blocking cold air.
