Snownado
NWS in Indy now says up to 3". I was hoping for a 3-6" event but i guess in this crappy winter 1-3" will have to do.

I don’t fully understand the reasoning behind the shift, either.

They are all over the place. Personally i would like at least 3.
Snownado
Beautiful big flakes. Temp down to 34.5.
DaveNay
Sorry guys....it's going to be 50 degrees and sunny by 8am tomorrow. How do I know? Because for the very first time this season, I put the snow chains on the tractor, greased up the snow blower, topped off the fuel tank, and put the battery charger on for overnight. 2
CoalCityWxMan
Already down to 30 in DKB, never got above 32
Chicago Storm
Ground dusted already...Kind of surprised with that. Most guidance has ~0.5" by 0z and 1.5" by 3z here, so we'll see how things trend.

miller.b.time
Already a dusting on the ground north of Indy. Coming down at a healthy little rate.
WeatherMonger
Snow started falling here at noon, 36 degrees and temp started a gradual drop to 32 and has now gone back up to 33 degrees. Just took a walk to backside of building and grassy areas have about 1/2" to show for 3 hours of what would normally be a steady accumulating rate. Starting to coat car tops and windshields but pavement and other warm surfaces still melting on contact.
tuanis
Flake size pretty solid at the office in Rosemont. Looks like a legit snowfall outside for once instead of the varying intensity crap we’ve seen all season. Let’s overachieve and restore some faith in winter tonight.
Radtechwxman
Snow actually started here rapidly on onset with no rain mixed in. I was shocked. Had nice flake size at first but have leveled off to pretty tiny flakes. Banding seems to be setting up further south closer to rain-snow line. Not liking that drying trend in northern MO but hopefully will fill back in as the arctic front and northern stream wave approaches. There is a deformation band back by KC that could pivot up this way though

CoalCityWxMan
Too early to tell but have a feeling we might overachieve in Dekalb. Temps are lower than most guidance had and already have more snow accumulated than most models showed by ~23z
sbnwx85
I'm hoping the fact the sun will be setting soon will help accumulations here.

miller.b.time
Well, KIND just bumped the WWA back from “up to 3” to “up to 4.” Just gonna cling to that upper end.

I would say the IND forecast shouldn't have been that high to begin with as there were red flags despite what the Euro was showing.
afterimage
it is crazy the bouncing....as mentioned KIND was high, then bumped down with their WWA not that long ago, and now at 412pm they re-issued WWA and did bump up
