Ryan’s supervisor Kaitlyn had .25 to .5 ice, first alert calling for some damage.

If .5 is the ceiling, I suspect most would escape much in the way of damage/major outages.  It will look beautiful though and set the stage for the cool down later in the week.

Euro may be a little too flat on this run based on observed heights around the shortwave, but overall my concerns are still tied to the RH in the DGZ. Not as solid as I would like to see for a widespread advisory event.

I feel like this may be tied to the amount of convection in the warm sector. 850 and 700 trajectories suggest to me RH will be a problem farther north.

I was just looking at the BOX snow map.......the totals they're showing over 24 hours are about what some of us saw in about an hour during the Dec. 1 system.  I guess that's that's one difference between a high-impact and low-impact event.  :)

Some people had an advisory for both!
