And they would be correct, I know up here in Northern Maine and the mtns, They lost a lot of the early snow from Nov with these rain event in Dec, The pack is pretty thin for there standards. Excellent snow making weather. Sunday River with 60 trails open is pretty good. Obviously not a tree glades lovers time but skiing looks pretty damn good.
