The pressure traces show a slight rise/fall couplet on CEF and other sites. Might have been a g-wave.

G-waves last that long?(I know nothing about them), but He’s been rocking for a good couple hours over there.

They don't, but it probably helped for a time. It's definitely related to the edge of that precip shield too.

Thanks for clarifying.

Maybe the gust stuff progged near the valley was legit. Should move to Hippy soon. Blowing hard here now. Acorns and branches hitting house.

If they do, you should consult a doctor.

57 knots at Conimicut Light.

If there is rain cooled air being forced up into a layer that is at least a little warmer (like tops of hills because of temp inversion)...the parcel is now wanting to descend. This is a katabatic or downslope wind. This may have encountered a warmer and drier layer as it moves west and descends into the CT valley.

Must have been..that’s rare.  That’s Cool for them. Fun when you don’t expect it...and it happens.

Calm as can be here...I mean nothing is moving at all.

Rocking here in North Andover. Was surprised to see a few power flashes though, I guess the wet ground and foliated trees aren’t helping. Impressive storm on sat images. Down to 988mb here.

Pretty intense band of precip just S of here moving NNW.  I'll stay up for a few more minutes to see if some good winds mix down.  I live in a no wind zone so I have been impressed tonight.

After being illuminated by a search light from a state trooper's car I could see that apparently a tree or part of a tree is down across the line in front of the house.  Branches are down in the road and lawn furniture is overturned.
