100 at Stafford

97 at Leesburg (JYO), Dulles (IAD), Webste Naval Air Station (KNUI), and Baltimore (BWI)

Really glad we spiked over the convective temp w/o it clouding over too much.  I always hate heat ruined by clouds in the afternoon.

I’m 5 miles from Stafford airport and sitting at 99/76. Definitely met the Heat Advisory criteria here

I have 4 exterior thermometers (because shut up, that's why).  97.1, 96.5, 95.9, 94.6.  The first three are shaded and the VP2 in the full sun is the lowest.  Fan-aspirated shield working well.

A nice garden soaker. A few gusts to about 35-40 and .56” in the gauge. Plenty of thunder and lightning. All in all this was one of the better storms of the season.
