NorthArlington101
3.5” on my best measuring spot, but it’s now just ice pellets. Annoying. Not sure when/if we flip back. Also not sure when we flipped.

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
I have to give some props to Doug kammerer, he explains things pretty well and doesn’t pump up the hype machine for no reason.

JakkelWx
Not sure if that heavy precip will come this far north up here to Goldsboro. Maybe I'm just reading crankyweatherguy's tweets too much.

87storms
Now would be a good time for the precip to begin backbuilding. Dc to bmore should be ok, but cutting it a bit close for N/W of that corridor. Latest hrrr implies similar so it’ll be interesting to see how well that area fills in as the upper energy moves through.

Does look to be doing just that, can’t see your location on mobile but extrapolating radar it looks to me like leesburg to Columbia and south of there should be good. LeesburgWx
Up to 5.5" now here in Leesburg. Hoping radar backfills some soon. I want double digits but I think I will be cutting it close unless the radar can really fill in.

LeesburgWx
Looks like 5"-6" CWA wide so far. Who thought we would get that from just the WAA piece of the storm?
JakkelWx
Nice returns coming from the SW and the r/s line is slowly creeping north. Doubt it will get this far but it's a sign that the really heavy bands can shift north and shellack a lot of the subforum, as well as backbuilding. RockabilyJunior
Things are really quiet in Baltimore City. It's hard to tell from inside, but it looks like 2-3 inches on the ground. I'm really hoping the back side of this storm gets going and makes it up here soon.
