We always do well with wraparound here!!! Be it rain or snow, I'm expecting big things my way!! :(

I am looking forward to a driving 35F-40F rain while 85 corridor gets 10"+ and MA to BOS get 18"+.  Will be really disappointed if that doesn't happen.

Looks like for Raleigh 850's bounce between 1-3C during heaviest precip...would think 85 corridor is close.  A 50 mile east shift would do wonders....well Franklin/Frosty may not like that :-)

Almost sad how close we are to this storm being really interesting to us - fascinating pattern to follow nonetheless.

850 line quickly retreats back to Virginia when precip ramps up... The GFS snow map is showing freezing rain and sleet as snow. Furthermore, it has surface temps right at 32, so it's mostly showing plan rain.

However, if the GFS is underdoing the CAD like usual then there could be some significant icing in the NC Piedmont with this look. Though I doubt it plays out like that.
