Yes, even higher than that.  I recorded something along the lines of 7"/hr

Saw 6 plus inches per hour in the blizzard of 2013 in CT...it was absolutely incredible..never ever saw that intensity before, or since!!  Enjoy..that is a rare phenomenon for sure..at least away from the lakes!!

Good for you pal..maybe you hit 20?  That would be nice!!

Just was reading the NWS Winter storm warning for up here, and they are calling for 12-16 inches!! I'm very fortunate to be up here this week, and get to experience it!

Yes you are enjoy it!

Had to be some 5" per hour rates in there somewhere earlier this evening.

Oh man.  If this had only held west just 20 miles.  The mountains needed it!!!   Soul crusher. We thought it was coming for us.  Won't complain about our 15" but really wanted the crush.

Actually looking into it, that may be legit. The 5.7" is near Westbrook, closer to PWM, and the 18.0" is the far western part of the town.

We have two employees, one measuring 4.5" in Westbrook, and the other near 22" in Hollis (near the Gorham/Standish line).

Wow, that's an impressive gradient.
