Winter weather advisory for detroit for 2-5". Detroit has gotten twice the snow toledo has this winter. I'd say they are more than due but hopefully it skirts detroit

Yeah, however I know my area and Powerball's has been suckerholed a few times, case in point in November. We are probably much closer to Toledo than DTW's total.

I don't doubt you have seen less than DTW, but I'm sure you've seen more than TOL. It's actually crazy to look at the north south gradient from TOL - DTW - FNT

Like how you took that pic Bo. Makes it look like the house has 5-6' of snow around it.

I wasn't expecting to see snow 6 out of the first 8 days of April, but here I am with 2.7" of snow to show for it.

Kind of excited to see what the next 48 or so can dish out for accumulations. Cold air is here, might as well get something out of it.

Let it torch later next week.  :sun:

haha...well I took the pic hanging out a window from my house, and my cabin sits a lot lower than the house... I a have stone wall along the whole front of my house, so that's why the pic is like that... in this pic last fall, the cabin was to my back.

i'd be good with a torch

Nice mesolow over Oshkosh right now headed south.  Looks to bring some heavier accumulations to the eastern half of the state over the next few hours.

That's cool looking.

Been watching the HRRR and it is showing the center of it dropped SSE this evening. Should get some good snow bursts later.

SWS put out by MKX.

Just accumulated 0.3" with a heavy burst of large dendrites. The pennies and nickles continue to pad the stats.  People will look back at the snowfall totals in this area think that it wasn't that bad of a winter, when in fact it was craptastic.
