Nothing severe to speak of here, about 10 miles north...impressive lightning and thunder, and undoubtedly the heaviest rain I've ever witnessed in December. That supercell has been going for 260 miles now. TWC is now saying 4 deaths... 1 in Arkansas (this morning, caused by wind) and 3 now in Mississippi. (DTX) When the line passed through here we saw a bunch of power flashes from the that direction, which would be NNW from here about 6-7 miles, I am wondering if there maybe have been a brief spin up there. Dr. Forbes has an 8 on the TORCON for Alabama. SPC tornado watch probabilities are rather low, but mesoanalysis shows an environment still ripe for tornadoes.
