January 26-28 Blizzard Observations/Nowcast

They really need to pull the plug on the NAM or use its computers for some type of fantasy model gaming system.  How the F can it be off by 50 or so miles at 6 hrs?  (NE).

No real big deal but I bet it is a quicker exit.   Just atrocious modeling.

Looks like the band is sliding slightly SE ever so slowly.

I think it may be, mostly expanding rapidly .

Subsidence sort of signal also disappeared in the harbor as that moisture piles NW

something special is happening lol, no way am I going to sleep

Seidel says all time in PYM ...better than blizzards in SD/ND/MN (due to duration) and equal to winds/snows

look at TWC shot , looks like someone is shaking powder on his head w 60mph gusts

So 2 at Logan but 12 at Jay's? LOL..what is going on at Logan?

I had 3-4 foot drifts on my walk like 1-2 hrs ago. They must send the maids that clean the planes out to measure for extra overtime.

If this stuff to the south of me really does make it up over us at the current intensity..it has to be some of the heaviest snows any of us will see.  Staying up to see what happens.

It looks to me what we're seeing on radar is the band is expanding E/SE.so that eventually  it just covers like 150 miles west to east

You've got a ways to go before it'll eventually start to lift to your east.  Still got good SE motion to your S.
