lsukev
The latest RAP is awesome from DCA towards Baltimore. Over 6 inches at 18 hrs. The latest HRRR shows a very solid band setting up somewhere in the vicinity of DCA too. Should be an interesting afternoon.

mappy
smooth trip south to Hunt Valley, nothing falling here. Got to Mt Carmel road on 83 and no snow was to be found, so I guess the areas along the PA border were lucky in the brief overnight snows that we got. winterymix
Here in Reisterstown, we got a coating and now a break in the action. I agree with someone's idea that cold air trickling south dried up the snow temporarily. Everyone seems to agree that this system is coming through in pieces. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Only 1-2 in the same area. Mostly this evening around 6pm and thereafter. Ah ha, definitely not trusting it then. I guess it's not too enthused with the current batch, but the models haven't done a good job with temps.
PWC Split
35 and absolutely pouring rain right now. Snow line is so close, yet so far....
RevWarReenactor
32 Degrees and some mood flakes here at APG (30 Mi NE of Baltimore, 70 miles NE DC).. Light ground coating Pretty impressed with the radar. We'll see what happens. I guess we were lucky to have colder temps up here and start as snow. Jebman
If that map verifies, DC and the northern suburbs will get pasted with 10 inches of snow. The map also indicates I might see 2-3. I'm keeping my expectations at a coating to an inch, but if I get lucky and get what the map indicates - I'll take it. Winds are increasing out of the ENE, 5 to 9 mph with gusts to 16. Moderate rain continues at 35 degrees, 32 dewpoint.

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Definitely seems like around DC at least rates should ease up a bit greens/yellows receding to VA.

winterymix
Reisterstown; very light snow now transitioning to light snow. Temps in the upper 20's. Unfortunately, gotta go to work. Few things better than cuppa coffee and morning accumulating snow.
Jebman
What map? Not map, model run of the RAP that Isukev5 posted above. Sorry, I've been up all night hoping to see a single flake of snow from this rainmaker lol. http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/45507-125-127-clipper-miller-b-obsnowcasting/?p=3298800 I know, I need to get a life. North Balti Zen
Quickly topping cars. Yup, genuine light snow in downtown. Started on my drive in from my neighborhood. Covering rooftops. Kinda makes me more optimistic for getting something out of this.
