Wouldn't have imagined that for a minute. Didn't think the NAM had a chance! I guess every model has to get a storm or two right once in awhile.

When I posted my multi city snowfall predictions in the other thread, I alluded to the fact that I was using a blend of the Euro/Nam, not really surprised that the Nam is verifying better than the GFS

Unfortunately I am still reporting a rain/pingers mix right now (maybe 10% snow in there). Been that way for about the last hour and twenty. Disappointing so far since we had about 20mins of solid flakes coming down.

We're about 15 miles apart its pretty much fzra now with pellets ground is coated in a slippery layer

Edit, TWN confirming fzra in KW.

The fact that KW and Guelph are either PL or RA/ZR means there's probably a thin layers of warmth around 800mb that has yet to be cooled by the pcpn. I doubt that lasts too much longer. Our problem out here in Toronto is our scorched sfc temps.

May be right. Snow just started again and twitter reporting changeover to snow in Brant, Oxford, and Middlesex Counties in the last 10 minutes.

Edit, heavy accumulating snow in London and Woodstock per tweets
