Long Island area for Next 6 Hours

According to my SmartCast, seeing the strongest winds occurring from 22Z to 03Z, with peak gusts of up to 51MPH around the 23Z time frame. Otherwise 36035G45MPH throughout the time frame.

Do you have similar data for NYC, LGA, TEB and EWR?

when is this thing going to kick in...seems rather lackluster in my area with just flurries and light rain mix after some snow none of which stuck earlier. I think some will do alot better than others

I can confirm this. Probably more snow than rain at this point with this wintry mix that we've been getting all day.

Long Island area for Next 6 Hours

According to my SmartCast, seeing burst of moderate to heavy snow from 22Z to 01Z, temperatures will remain above freezing, so accumulations will be limited to few slushy inches. Visibilities will be around ¾ to 1 mile, ceilings around 300 to 400feet. Winds will continue to be NW at 35-40 with Gusts up to 52MPH from now till 03Z, then decreasing.
