It's on the ground now. The NWS Birmingham office dual-pole radar has a significant correlation coefficient that specifies debris in the storm structure. The guesstimation is either an EF2 or stronger because of this.

Bravo to TWC & Dr. Greg Forbes for mentioning this and explaining it.

Paul M. Grist State Park, as well as Plantersville and Jones are in

the path of the likely strong tornado in AL. The park was hit by a

tornado just last year.

Could be a giant amount of trees in the vortex after moving through

the park. This is a Life-Threatening situation, even in rural AL

because there are a lot of mobile homes in the area, which could

lead to a lot of injuries very quickly without even widespread damage.

Marbury is the larger city in the path of this thing if it continues, population >1000.

West Liberty looks bad but not EF5 bad, probaly more like EF3. Of course there could be EF5 damage in the woods next to West Liberty but it looks like the buildings were heavily damaged but not flattened.

The Alabam cell looks impressive but the stuff to the south may shred it apart or the line to the north may absorb it. That looks like the last cell of this outbreak.

Watching a storm near Talladega, AL. No warnings with it right now however.

I was just taking a look at that one too......definitely ramped up in intensity and does have some rotation with it. Have to watch it over the next 30 minutes. It's got a much tougher environment ahead of it though. Lots of crapvection with it but we'll see what happens.
