  3. There's a scraper on Front street in the burg. The one by the UPMC hospital. Trouble is most trucks are too big height wise to fit under it.
  4. Euro was underdone overall but had the correct general idea six days out
  5. it's a flizzard in coastal Monmouth County New Jersey. This would've been a big one. The ocean is angry. .
  6. Whoa it's February! Copying from the Jan thread: Our 20s daughter lives by herself in an apartment Newport, just up from Morehead City. We got her to ask her company of she could remote work a few days next week and get up here, and they said yes so she came home Friday. We are so glad because her area looks to be hardest hit with unofficial reports of 20-plus inches! Going down to 10 degrees tonight. That area is going to be paralyzed. 7. Some ice forming in the brackish water at the west end of Raritan Bay, here. A thin layer extending out 100 to 200 yards, and in the boat basin, has formed. Ice can spread rapidly once the freezing point is reached. I'll keep checking. Needs to be long-term cold spells to get ice to form in the Raritan Bay. I haven't seen extensive ice in a decade, here.
  8. We got very lucky we got one real storm this winter
  9. That’s not a given. I guess we wait until PNA drops. Was hoping we could grab something beforehand. A few days ago I mentioned the NW flow and that’s what we have. So hope for clippers. Not sure we can buckle the flow enough for something larger.

  11. Had a great time tracking and enjoying this storm. We ended up with about 10 inches in areas, and with drifting, it was higher. Crazy storm! It looks like it was the GFS that called this week out, I think. Great job Bloo!!
  12. There were a few flurries in Larchmont, NY.
  13. Pixie dust snow showers still going since about 9pm last night, picked up another 1/2inch or so but hard to tell with how much is blowing around Winds finally died down a little (average of 5-8 mph versus 15-20 over the last 36 hours). Hoping the 0° windchill feels less biting than the -15° yesterday or I may have a 3 year old revolt haha Roads covered and very much a gamble without chains. Anyone in the chatt area get more snow last night? Curious if school with happen tomorrow, have my doubts
  14. Flurries in East Brunswick began around 8 am
  15. Yeah. I remember the thermometer in my car reading-25 one morning.
  16. -3 this morning with clear skies. The views are amazing with everything covered in snow.
  17. Incredible storm! I am so glad our daughter, who lives in an apartment by herself in Newport, was able to come home to MD on Friday. She'd have been stuck for a while. I hope no one loses power down there!
