If we actually follow the criteria of severe thunderstorm warning, would we ever issue any? What is the criteria anyway… lol

Good read there if that trough weakens is game on! -
About an hour ago as storms were building/moving into MHT. Lots of lightning. Looks like the worst was up towards the Manchester/Hooksett line.
-
Storms popped up, super close lightning strikes. Dogs freaking out. House rattling thunder.

Tropical Storm #Erin continues trucking west and is showing signs of life after nearly two days of struggling. While a weakness in the western Atlantic ridge is a given, how quickly the ridge rebounds and what role an eastern US trough play could lead to some longer-term track intrigue. First rain in a couple of weeks. Nice shower with a few rumbles. 0.59"
-
All the farther west track prior to recurve does is pump ridging even more and further lessen any mild down next week.

Is this going to Dorian us and tease us while stalling in the Bahamas before ultimately backtracking. i wonder if Trump will do another sharpie map?

I admire your weenieness!

Although many of us saw rain today, PIT has so far seen just a trace. This ends the streak of completely rain-free days on the official record, but honestly I’m not sure measurable rain at the airport is anywhere near a sure bet this evening.

Thanks, really needed the rain though so I'll take the power outage. Looks like it's time to pull the generator out of the shed. Restoration estimate is 10:30 tonight
