  1. Past hour
  2. Amazing how some have IMBY vision only.
  3. Recent rainfall and snowfall for you guys in Colorado. NWS snowfall analysis says it snowed above 6000-7000ft. The Rocky Mountain national park views have some snow visible above 11000ft today. Frisco/Breckenridge had some snow in town.
  4. I've been very pleasantly surprised that some mayapple seeds I planted randomly under some trees in the back of my yard actually grew. Trying to turn my 1/4 acre (the back of it) into the woods, might take 30 years though
  5. Gorgeous day especially by comparison of the majority recently.
  6. The recent CPC says there is about a 20% chance of a super El Nino for the winter (Nov-Jan). It's at the end of their forecast graphics. So how's a super El Nino for getting rid of the drought? Pretty good chance to have large rainfall in the southern USA. Things have not gone well for the West and Southeast, two huge parts our country.
  7. stand corrected ...I wouldn't hate that though.
  8. yea. Can't wait for our 97-98 redux winter. 40's and rain
  9. Yeah, 90F and mid 20s in only a few days later. Crazy roller coaster month. .
  10. Really really hope it doesn’t rain Wednesday - I have a group of 600 people doing a walking tour.
  11. If you’re in the sun it’s a +10 real feel. T-shirt and jeans perfect in the sun.
  12. Builders scrape vast quantities of topsoil and then sell it for profit. It's a total scam.
  13. oh I agree with you-I just remember other years with days and days of overcast and onshore flow. This one's a bit more tolerable.
  14. Pretty good gradient for early May and storm over NE (that does wrap up good) but agree it seems maybe a little strange this far out. Just used this GFS as an example form 06Z----I think they are looking at this system and the general pattern. I believe the criteria is 40 mph or higher for 1 hrr. or more.
  15. Today
  16. One rough hour, but yeah, mostly sunny this afternoon albeit cool.
  17. Amazing people knocking this weather. Awesome out.
  18. mm... I've made no restraint in my expressing how I feel about spring around in New England. It's subjective, ...admittedly. But I find it loathsome. I don't really spin it as 'not so bad' at times just because it's like today. I think it is bad, with days scattered over time that are not as bad. But because we know what's in store, it's tainted. I don't like a sunny, 74 day in April, when knowing it is going to snow in two days. That's a weird personal thing ( probably...) but that day is like an abusive spouse that loves you to death when their not choking you in a narcissistic rage. No but it's just me. I have a very short tolerance for days like yesterday and the annoyance isn't compensated enough I guess. So over the long run, I'd rather not live here between ~ March 24 and Mother's Day if I had any choice.
  19. Yep. 2nd sunniest April in the last 5 years according to my solar panel data.
  20. Damn fine evening yesterday for my Wild and Timberwolves.
