  1. Past hour
  2. Poor Karen Rodgers. He got smacked around. Probably should retire.
  3. Looking like another dry month with just 0.71" here so far and not much on the horizon... Last Jan was my driest on record with 0.58". Not gonna get alot of snow with those numbers regardless of how cold it is. Since Sept 2024, station running a -22" precip departure.
  4. Today
  5. 6z Nam getting on board for tomorrow night...sort of.
  6. Meanwhile driving back from Yellowstone tonight it was 60-degrees at 9:30 pm. At least another week of above temps and I’ve got new skis waiting to be broken in.
  7. Yeah maybe she should have it checked out if she’s willing. Hope she’s ok.
  8. I'm just happy I didn't have to watch Faalele get his ass kicked on National TV again by Will Anderson, Danielle Hunter, or whoever he would eventually miss the block on. Texans are going to be a tough out, but Stroud has to play better. They are insanely good if they can be competent on offense.
  9. Good thing some of us got that heavy rain because the next 10 days look precipitation less east of the Apps.
  10. Brief shot of big dog cold on the GFS next week. Signal has been pretty consistent across guidance.
  11. And for an even wilder gradient, the temp sensor at the airport, roughly 1/2 mile from my station by the farm house, is currently at 35.8! So there is nearly 10 degree gradient in under 1 mile! I’ve seen this out there before and I am convinced my farm sits in the coldest spot in the county. On the car thermometer it is almost a given to drop 5+ degrees from the blacktop to the farmhouse on top of the drive. Very interesting evening, figured I’d share
  12. Pretty big temp discrepancy right now between my house and my farm. We’re sitting at 35.4 at home right now and the farm near Louisburg has already fallen to 25.9. Almost a 10 degree different between the two counties. Ideal radiational cooling conditions in rural areas right now
  13. One of the worst gfs runs of all time lol. Get the snow blower out
  14. Blunt physical trauma is disorienting. I've had ice falls onto my ass that felt like I got punched in the head.
  15. Hrm...I get the feeling that we may actually have enough cold air north of us to work, and maybe that shows itself as we get closer. I mean I haven't seen a SE ridge in any of the maps shared. And if it's that cold nearby perhaps that could do it? (Oy why am I trying to do analysis today? Who do I think I am???)
  16. I dunno' I could see a few advisory events getting many over 10" for the month. Lots of cold lurking.
  17. My fear is if we do finally get SS moisture we end up on the wrong side of the boundary. Ala 00z gfs
  18. I'm thinking after the 21/22 we'll have snow
