  2. they did good for ya'll now, but that'll change in a few weeks.
  3. At least the acorns are dropping this year. We had zero last year. Now it seems like a lot of smaller and normal acorns everywhere. Just took the dog out, Owls still trying to scare the rabbits out of their comfort zone. What a night.
  4. 83 today and 0.03”. so long summer
  5. They were pretty good last winter with maintaining the cold. I haven't followed them since March.
  6. With some models hinting at an early frost next week can our first freeze be far behind? Below are current reporting stations across the Chester County PA area with last year, average, earliest and latest first freeze dates.
  7. It’s a step down the staircase to winter. Maybe there’s 3 more stairs to go down if we have a warm wet torch, 5 or 6 if we have cold/snowy periods but step down today for sure.

  17. Everyone else is seeing this clowny GFS run right? Bringing snow showers through the Triad and even pushing into the Triangle. Couldn’t believe my eyes, but it is the GFS after all.
  18. Don't know if anyone noticed, but many of the MR models are showing a big hit of BN over the Conus east of the Mississippi at the end of their runs for the past few days. 18z EuroAi and Gfs are pretty impressive with 12z support on the Gefs and Geps. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=ec-aifs&region=us&pkg=T2ma&runtime=2026100218&fh=360 https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=gfs&region=us&pkg=T2ma&runtime=2026100218&fh=384 Edit: Euro weeklies are on board too as the first 3 weeks (surprisingly) are BN in much of the east. https://charts.ecmwf.int/products/extended-anomaly-2t?base_time=202610020000&projection=opencharts_north_america&valid_time=202610120000

  24. When you have all these polar currents in East Asia breeding on warmth, youd want to see some of these oceans colder and not warmer.it doesnt mix out very well
  25. Since operational intensity was borderline and it's not really a sampling issue, I don't really see how they would bother. I mean, that's not overwhelming data for reanalysis to circumvent the operational intensity, IMO.
  26. Quick shower here to end summer 2026.
