Oh, that just must be a gap then. This was forecasted as recently as this morning to be a change over to rain, but that doesn’t look like it’s happening. Turning out to be a good little refresher. -

First of all, it's the 18z run, second of all, it's the icon't!!! -
I believe that 1969 was Xmas snow storm in DC as well.
-
Light rain, temps have risen 2 degrees.
-
84h NAM still looked like it could be fun with that shortwave.

The wet snow made a slurry outside that is quickly turning into an icy disaster -

Yesterday we have a negative trough axis modeled for this weekends storm. Today not so much...need that to change or thing dusts south of us and weakens out to sea. -
I think it’s less on people and more on the cement/UHI. UHI is getting really noticeable; I’m often 15° or more difference versus the city on cold nights. .

welcome back and yes, it does -
Has got nothing to do with UHI actually. Long Island's been in just as much as a snow drought. UHI isn't a factor during snowstorms cause the snow rapidly cools the surface.

I don’t know man. Looks like there’s a back edge over western Merrimack County. But it is a pretty efficient accumulator. I’m probably just under an inch now. -
Maybe another 0.10-0.15” to go too. So 1-2” on top of this.

That’s it, it’s over… the icon has spoken

33.1 with moderate snow. A nice refresher for the 9 day old snowpack. If you can call 2 inches a snowpack.

Been mixing in Lititz and Ephrata for last 2 hrs. Last temp check was 35. Some pingers mixed with a lush bombs and a few bonified flakes as well. -
It looks like a foot kicking the snow away or getting ready to stomp on us.

27.7°, light/moderate snow, 1.5" new. Pleasantly surprised. Nothing was happening at all in Concord when I left a little over an hour ago. -
Made it to 44.8 around 1 pm with partly cloudy skies, now rain and 38.5. The snow in the trees finally caved as they slopped off onto the ground lol.

Yeah it seems it switched to sleet as soon as we got on the train but our entire walk was straight snow, even had some mulch beds caving! It’s the little victories ha.
