Yep we are in big trouble. There is a significant fire about 6 miles away from my house.

And to make matters worse all of the rain it’s showing now is from afternoon popup storms which are highly variable and not super beneficial for regional drought relief. Thunderstorm roulette in the afternoon is not where you wanna be to break severe+ drought conditions

NWS has been hurt too many times under estimating the CAD/wedge. I get it.

Anecdotally, the last three Springs have been very active in terms of severe weather in my neck of the woods. I'm more used to Spring and storms arriving regularly until May. It's been another delightfully active and (mostly) warm Spring again.

I would say CEF is good as well.

It's been over since late Feb, but you would not listen. Now it's time for wamth and eventually dews. Can't wait.

Definitely can't complain about the weekly opportunities we have had for severe the last few weeks. To me, it is feeling more active than last year around this time. But I will admit I haven't actually gone back and verified. Speaking specifically for NIL.
