Mammoth is being destroyed. Moderate to heavy snow is and has been hammering the resort all frackin' night long, especially the Main Lodge and Woolly areas. It looks like they have anywhere from 12 to possibly as much as 16 inches on the Main Lodge. They are plowing the Woolly Lot, where the recently fallen snow is DEEP! Incredible amounts of moisture are being transported up against the Sierra then lifted up where it is falling as very heavy snows! MUCH, MUCH more snow is in store as the new day dawns! Ive seen enough to be getting a bit more excited for some winter weather on Friday. I admit I've been a skeptic on this evolution, but have been suggesting that the pattern is gettin less hostile for us as the NAO trends neg., but man this is how you shoehorn an event into our sub.
