  1. Past hour
  2. 17.7/17.1 after a high of 18.6 here in 21057. sleet
  3. 21.9 degrees with sleet or ice pellets. I would say close to 10 inches
  4. Another vortex moving down Long Island on radar. This is like the third one.
  5. Firstt clearing and measure from Snowthuen- -8.5...snowfall rates are going to have to really pick and/or there is going to have to be several inches of snow tomorrow to reach the higher forecasted totals..
  6. I don't know how you would tow 3' of snow...
  7. After that stupid ass temp spike I'm now down to 24.4. A 4F drop in 45 min. Sleet/ZR mix here and its total ice on top the sleet pack
  8. True but sucks we're going to waste this entire week of <32f temps... 16F/sleet
  9. 18z Euro says "Not so fast my friend." Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro XL using Tapatalk
  10. In the end it just comes down to a number. The liquid equiv will be what it is. By the end of the week the pack will look the same whether it started as big dendrites or little plates and needles.
  11. i also measured 11" total. I think we get at least another inch here in the next batch. We are going over 12"
  12. Just pouring sleet here and radar looks good for at least another hour of this.
  13. I’ll give the forum credit- almost no one here bought it
  14. As a Pats fan, game was almost as intense as the storm. 20” would be nice but I’ll take our 9+ inches of snow/sleet.
  15. This is how you get tow to three feet of snow.
  16. I am sure there could be some sneaky thin above freezing layers, but the hourly analysis of the low-levels from 925 to 850, along with the hourly profiles (the one below is close to the Vernon CT area where someone was reporting sleet) sleet is not the favored precip type. Not saying anyone is lying, but I'd favor mangled snowflakes or snowflake shards; if that makes sense? Certainly not a classic sleet profile...
  17. Sleet line still dancing roughly around the same area for the past few hours. Advancing then retreating.
