We may have our first hurricane of the season on Thursday. Impressive bursting continues despite the slightly tilted vortex. Erin may be developing an eyewall, at least around the western and southern semicircle of the VM. -

Ma that ai euro model hasn't budge once but for 5 or 6 models runs with the more recent ones further west. Super consistent. Wrong or right well see. -
Finally got hit with one after missing several times today. A quick 0.70” and still raining.

Pretty crazy in extreme NE Maryland and Northern DE. Pouring here, with booms of thunder, lost power twice already, luckily it came back on rather quickly.

No rain here just a complete steambath all around. Didn’t think we could top the humidity levels we had earlier in the season but here we are! Sadly looks like any good moisture will stay to our north.

Southwestern Gulf (AL98): A broad low pressure area has formed from a tropical wave over the Yucatan Peninsula with disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. This low is forecast to move west-northwestward across the southwestern Gulf overnight where environmental conditions are marginally conducive for further development. The system is forecast to move inland over northeastern Mexico by late Friday, ending its chances of formation. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent. -

Had another storm pop overhead; very lucky. Light fare but dents the dryness a hair
