  1. Past hour
  2. ...I held out hoping March would be a special month, but hope faded as the days went by. Oh well. Rain happens.
  3. Yeah, I'm far from an expert, but the idea that this pattern would produce 90 degree temperatures in March in the Mid Atlantic really seems abnormal. 70s, sure. But this doesn't look record breaking. I would think you'd need a big Bermuda High and a ridge centered over the East Coast itself.
  4. maybe a super nino will finally couple to the mid latitudes more convincingly.
  5. I think wetter and warmer than this past winter in the NE is a good guess for next season.
  6. Oh I got an idea. So do most climate scientists
  7. You’re welcome. No points scored. But If you notice the usual suspects are giving you weenies for pointing out very valid points…because it doesn’t fit in with the narratives. Then they wonder why these narratives aren’t taken seriously, and have very serious flaws. But thank you for pointing out these obvious issues…that some of us have realized. But when it comes from a pro…it carries a little more weight.
  8. Have only had three 60°+ days here while it’s been like a different season in NJ. 9. About .40” in the bucket this morning. Trash cans survived the onslaught of overnight showers. 49F
  10. Sound waters are colder than average so it makes sense
  11. Temps should drop off all day today little by little with gusty winds. Should be a pretty nice week.
  12. Yeah, the CT Shoreline has been on the cooler side of the backdoor for much of this month. EWR…+4.7° NYC….+3.8° BDR….+0.8°
  13. Sausage fest here. Turkey sausage.
  14. I was kidding with him. Pelting with a few flaws here. Ground whitening.
  15. Set a new record high for the date of 83.9 degrees, beating old mark of 81 degrees from 2012. Interesting morning here, had two rounds of thunderstorms almost back to back between 4 and 6 am. First one had a 35 mph gust, AND the temp rose 8 degrees (from 56 to 64) in just a few minutes right in front of the first storm.
  16. A little surprised it's actually icy.
  17. Time to the subscriptions before the monthly violation.
  18. Bit a coating starting when I left a couple of hours ago.
  19. 0.86“ of rain for the event. We got very little precip and no severe weather on the front end, but a good amount of precip on the back half. We often head into spring with a rainfall deficit, but not this year.
  20. 79 yesterday at home. Mid 80s in Laurel where I spent my weekend. And of course it’s damp, foggy and dreary this morning.
