The “I bring the mojo” Jan 30-Feb 1 potential winter storm
ADB83 replied to lilj4425's topic in Southeastern States
If you live anywhere, not on the coast or in South Carolina, they are empty. Literally nothing lol. If you live in South Carolina or eastern Georgia here you go . -
Agreed. If Norfolk and Boston don’t get anything, I’m fine with sunny skies
-
Comical to try and sell that with 4” of snow everywhere and 15-25F with heavy sleet and snow and 20+mph winds that theDCA station has a “warmth” element creeping into it
-
That's nice. No chance for blowing and drifting on the way back and forth to Iowa City

Models are showing parts of VA and NW NC well below zero tomorrow morning. -
WB latest EPS extended for February still looks cold with above normal precipitation. There should be more chances if the weekend threat fizzles out.

Thanks for sharing. I know cocorahs and coop are different than trained spotters with more info give but surely there are ways to verify the data being submitted?

I expect a north trend again. -
Certain areas in the south have the potential to break several records over the next week. Rivers freezing that haven't froze in years, infrastructure damage? Frozen waterfall pics, Post them here.
-
Oh yeah just like this weekend
-
Good thing about the GFS is it skunked NE. Just OTS. I’m petty. Yes.

Funny you say that, I thought the same thing early on from where it was but the trough stayed positive to far east. -

Scotty Norwood there on the GFS -
GFS is one thing but I'd really like to get Euro back here after that disastrous 12z run. I don't even wanna be in the GFS bullseye at day 5/6
-
The end of the ensemble runs look to perhaps be signaling the soon to be breakdown of the pattern as they are retrograding the ridge out west but it could ultimately be 2/15 or later before that happens
-
JMA was a huge hit btw https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/jma/2026012612/jma_z500_mslp_us_7.png

That’s it. I’m out! I give up…for a just a few minutes until I crack one more. Then I’m back in for the Euro.

If euro is east again, I fear the OTS threat .
