CoastalWx replied to HoarfrostHubb's topic in New England
Well was fun while it lasted. Let’s get a coating and have it melt by 8a tomorrow. -
Ok no worries pal. And just for the record, I’m not saying the euro is right…I’m just saying it wouldn’t surprise me if we err on the cooler side rather than not. Just my gut feeling.

Just a thought forky…. Sometimes even an unintended lapse in civility can have unforeseen results. As always ….

Every 2-3 years they get one, while it’s been 13 years here. Maybe it’s time for us to move? Although I’m stuck here with my business.

The American Storm @BigJoeBastardi · 1h Only I and the Canadian are left with any storm threat in the NE Feb 15-16. But until I can see what this looks like when it reaches the w coast, and I am sure the northern branch does not feed a piece in, no change in ideas This way I am wrong once. If they models come back alot of people are wrong multiple times, since they parrot the models if they are using models. But people that have been saying nothing is coming for a while certainly own the field now. Touche -

Groton being the cold spot in CT on a SW breeze in February is incredible. -
58 and sunny. I'm sick of this damn heat.

Y'all EOR peeps have to understand how brutal it has been with KU storms since Feb 13 out here. We’ve had Some great events between 12-16” but when you come within 25mi of several historic 18-30” events…it’s painful. Add to that, some of the close misses were busts, it’s become a tough pill swallow. -
You get the idea though

I’m about 50 miles north of NYC, would take March 2017 or March 2018 over Feb 2006 or Jan 2016 any day. Had way better snow retention than those two classics that started melting out almost before the snow ended.

Glorious day. It seems like we tend to usually bust higher in temps on days like these. Has me almost ready for spring. -

I get CT getting skunked, but the Berks too? I thought that NE-SW trajectory could be good for them -
Comparing one’s life to how much snow they got compared to their friends out East is much different lol
-
What's weird is the EPS still shows snow in VA but the OP says no.
-
That’s why so many youth lose their shit on social media, constant comparisons

Gotta embrace it. I'm just hoping for rain to wash the salt away so I can start riding my motorcycle.
