We have ticked down a bit further to 15.6. Assume any temp rise for those to the east should stop soon.
-
Shoveled. Then about half inch sleet accumulated

Seems like we got stung by a lack of blocking/la Nina combo. But I generally agree that if we’re gonna waste an inch or whatever of qpf, this is the most wintry way to do it.

Now that the sleet has finally started moving in for the peeps east of me, it's more entertaining here than the NFL game. Talk about a bust. -
Flakes are mixing in, but we’re primarily sleet. At least 3” of sleet so far and counting

Nam was right in the amount of sleet that would mix in, but the front end thump was a lot more than was forecast. -

Looks like we are getting close to the end in Gaithersburg. Still probably a few hours but I see the back end of the shield on radar.

Forreal. Well it's definitely put a lot of stuff on the ground, and 10+ inches is the most weave gotten here in over a decade, the blockbuster accumulation was juuuuust a couple of degrees away at 700-850 millibars -
I don't have access. Its definitely paywall. Not sure if the public has easy access but some mets swear by it

glad someone mentioned ALEET ALEET, I'd been thinking of that through the sleet, now mostly ZR here, temp has maxed out at 20, baro not falling as rapidly as a few hours ago
