Same here with the drifting..still got moderate snow falling. My best guess is 5-6" here.

Yeah….We can’t match the obscenity of the mid-50s through late 70s….but this is pretty solid for post-1980…think this is the 9th coldest start to winter for ORH since then and it should continue to climb the rankings if the models have any idea over the next couple weeks.

There's already 3 inches on the ground here in Steele Creek part of Charlotte. I'm near (less than an mile from) the CLT Airport. We're getting the heaviest band and it's white out conditions outdoors here

I’m at 29-30” here and average is low to mid 30s. Confident we get to that number and probably over 40”.

At 9:15 AM EST, 1 NW Kannapolis [Cabarrus Co, NC] Public reports Snow of 2.80 Inch. Updates previous snow report from 1 NW Kannapolis.

I FB messaged Van Denton on that one. He said the worst part on that one was that the models were calling for 2 feet. He said climatologically he couldn't forecast that.

Still need about 12" here to reach average. I think between now and the next 2 weeks we could make up around half of that. Maybe more if something bigger pops up.
