Well, it is in Ulster County, which is part of the NYC DMA, as is LBI, in Ocean County, so if one uses the NYC DMA it's part of NYC Metro. Not everyone uses the DMA, of course. It's also closer to Central Park than the east end of LI, which I think everyone would consider part of NYC Metro.

Models are a little more bullish on the energy coming down from the northern stream being stronger and interacting with a low off the coast. GFS, ICON and Canadian how something small for western nc/Va and some of the Piedmont. Its not huge right now but something to watch

Looks like low teens are easy here tonight, single digits on Monday night...also looks like it won't hit 30 tomorrow or Monday. We're not even close to peak snow climo, I think some have expectations way too high this time of year. Just be happy it feels like winter...

I'm also at Beech and rates are looking like they are picking up for now. Not sure it matters much but I'm a bit 600 feet higher than where you are. Cars are starting to get covered and temp is 31.5
