Unable to chase tomorrow across eastern AR into western TN tomorrow afternoon and evening. Thursday looks to be a good under the radar day if things line up just right. Some of the CAMs were showing potential for a discrete cell or two to develop as a very weak sfc tracks across the region.

Does that do damage around there? Like uprooted trees, or is everything so resilient from severe all the time that it’s no big deal?
-
summer version of our winter.. always 10 plus days out
-
77 mph gust reported at the airport apparently.
-
18z gfs still cooler next week kicks the can on the heat to day 11-15

The under 5 90 degree day summer list is an interesting one, for example I remember 1996 as warm and very humid, not really cool. I remember one particularly oppressive day when it was 81 degrees with 100% humidity completely overcast and a horrible day. It started out so hot with two days in the mid to upper 90s in May and only ended up with one more 90 degree day, when it barely hit 90 on the last day of August. 1992 was much cooler than 1996.

was HHH really expecting 4 days of 70 plus dews no 50s but 75 and sunny would be perfect all Summer
-
Stein us. Just had 4-7” of rain.
-
2014 wasn't as cool as these summers.

1.87" 0.10 in past hour. radar returns hanging on by a thread but ground truth is heavier. this reminds me of the back edge of a snowstorm when it sometimes re-fills in
-
Yeah my bad, was ENEATT. Should be some good totals out west
-
ENE maybe but WNE looks locked in for 2-4” of rain through Saturday PM

0.92" now. Not sure we'll make an inch. 54F -
1992 really stands out to me especially because it was so influenced by the Pinatubo eruption. It would be really interesting to see how it compares to those other summers you mentioned. I think 2014 was like that too.

.89" yesterday, .87" today. 1.76" soaker over 24 hours. And I don't think my AC has run in a week. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this stretch of weather. The closest wxunderground station is showing an insane 10.66" for this month. I need to check my posts to see if I missed some rain at the beginning of the month.

Yeah tonight is minor and Saturday trending north
-
It won't be. I am getting more and more convinced that we are going a 1992, 96, 2000, 2004, 2009 summer around here.
-
Columbia 8pm: A bit more than I was expecting to see: 1.71” — with some light occasional drizzle Temp range today 56/51
-
cool days are much better when it's sunny. I'm going to miss days like Monday and Tuesday.
-
Meh

Yeah we saw that one slide just south of us. Got some good thunder out of it though. And yes, the past couple weeks have been very summer-like, if a little cooler than actual summer.
-
Oh I hope I hope I hope.

The thing is that it's supposed to be common place now, since the rest of the globe torches and tans with ease. We are still running the same highs as they had in 1898, or worse
