Run after run for months the EURO has insisted on a December peak. The new run is no different and it hasn’t backed off the all time, record-shattering peaks for regions 1+2, 3 and 3.4 one iota come December:

@so_whats_happening

If i could have managed to string 3 good shots in a row somehow, it woulda been a great day for golf.

Don’t you dare jinx us up here in God’s Country lol

What an absolutely riveting stretch of weather. Wake me up when October ends..

wow

Aim higher. We are past that and onto drying out entire springs!

basically this entire interaction

No man... You're wrong on this guy. He's not another Mark more garbage.

Yea, aside from a wife, 4 kids, a solid career, side-hustle, thriving business abroad and a fulfilling hobby....

I'm assuming it would probably be down in OUN?

Depressing to see most, if not all, of the NWS hourly surface data maps are no longer plotting Canadian data sites... I frequently use the GIS site and it is no longer showing any real time Canadian metar data.

Don't be so sure of that. The winter of 1965-66 being a case in point. I'm excited about how hot I know next summer will be though. A mix of 1966 and 1983 is on the way. It's great to see sunny shades of October 2024. Yes this is usually the time of year when we have our best weather. This is the best weather of the entire year. Great timing with the fall foliage at peak too. Yes I wouldn't mind 4 weeks of this. Yuck another hard freeze. My October electric bill is projected to be over 600. Dont ask, the cost of heating a large house combined with inflated energy costs. I have 17 heating zones here and when I had the heat set to 65 it was too cold. 70 was okay for awhile but when we had those 2 nights in a row below freezing even 70 wasn't enough. Now I have a large portion of the house at 73 with a few minor exceptions: 5 thermostats set at 50. 4 bathrooms plus the kitchen. These are the rooms that require the least heat. 3 thermostats set at 68. These are a few of the rooms downstairs. 2 thermostats set at 70. These are two of the bedrooms upstairs. 7 thermostats set at 73. My bedroom upstairs, the hallway and some of the rooms downstairs that have very tall ceilings. I previously had those downstairs rooms set at 70 but it wasn't warm enough when we went below freezing. I have 4 propane fireplaces so I might revisit these settings if I turn them on The 17 thermostats average out to exactly 65 but that obviously doesn't account for room size.

COC!
