  1. Past hour
  2. 21.6 at 6:30 on my Davis WS.
  3. Lots of 20s for lows at mesonet stations
  4. 3° at Estcourt Station. Hopefully everyone is out enjoying it this morning.
  5. 32.0° per my weather station
  6. pray for the block to be a bit stronger-some of the models struggle to get the rain past NYC
  7. 34F in Huntingtown, yay we avoided the freeze. Not so at the cabin, 28F there in Swanton.
  8. 29 in Davidsonville (plants safely covered)
  9. I feel for the orchards. Year #4 without a crop of peaches for northern MD. Apples also probably got fried. No local fruit sucks bad. I use to enjoy picking my own peaches from Lerry Land farms.
  10. This was a record breaking April temperature drop spanning around 5 days. These charts are just for hourly reports and miss highs or lows recorded between hours. Spots that radiate well dropped more than 60°. https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/plotting/auto/?_wait=no&q=169&network=NJ_ASOS&zstation=EWR&v=tmpf&hours=111&month=apr&dir=cool&how=exact&syear=1900&_r=t&dpi=100&_fmt=png
  11. I’m suppose to go Saturday night. Hope weather improves for the weekend.
  12. Went down to feed the cats. Thought to myself wow the house is cold. Thermostat said 66. Forgot to switch back to heat from cool last night. Outside temp here is 27. Quite rude. Put the heat back on to warm the house up as the system will be down all day for the install. On a side note internet went down at 10 last night and is still down this morning. Xfinity had a 1:15 am back up time, but that has been pushed to 9 am. Longest outage we have ever had. So running off cell data until back up.
  13. 27.3 (Muttontown) & 30.9 (Syosset) for morning lows.
  14. This is really impressive after the heat of last week. Not too often do you have highs in the 90s followed so close to freezing temps.
  15. Of course it does. I am going to the Savannah Bananas on Sunday. We can’t have nice weather for that…
  16. Looks like the warm water helped keep DCA (and a few other spots "on" the water) well short of freezing. A few other locations may also have escaped. But IAD hit 27, BWI 30
  17. It was 40F at 3am in Colonial Beach so I was like no way. Surprised to wake up to see 32 at 630am! Winds must have died down.
  18. 32 on the dot along the former, and sure to be future tropical shores of the Potomac.
  19. 24 currently… plants that have opened hopefully will recover.
  20. 23 this morning,. I wonder how much damage this hard frost and freeze did to the fruit trees and other vegetation overnight?
  21. 31.8 for the low... already back above freezing.
