  1. Past hour
  2. Rather have it show something than not so it’s something to watch.
  3. Nah. All whingy posts would be hidden, and the snow maps...
  4. Yall know this is 180 hours + out. You know there are going to be some runs between now and then that are going to be flush hits, right?
  5. this can work. vort is a lot more defined than 00z
  6. Add the WB GDPS Para to the snowy side at 12Z. Low track positions 0Z and 18Z Mon.
  7. I *think* I saw some flakes flying around the chapel hill exit on 85. Sky looks like snow that’s for sure
  8. If you factor in the Euro's proclivity to over amplify at this range and consider the seasonal trend as exhibited on the Gfs suite, I'd say you have the Icon solution.
  9. big storm for boston, there is some back end snow too for some of us
  10. Yeah but don't forget what we usually get in Ninas. How often does it snow 6-7" at ALL in a nina?
  11. If we're done, I'm still giving this winter somewhere in the B range. Yes, we'd finish below normal snowfall, but the last two weeks have been the most impressive stretch of pure winter in my 21 years in the DC area.
  12. All we need is the surface low to exit the coast at Norfolk instead of tracking over the mouth of the bay to OC. Not a big ask. See what Chuck thinks.
  13. 12z Euro tries to run a sub-990 low across the heart of an eroding CAD, I would take the OPs with a grain of salt at this point. Mainly focus on what the ensembles are showing at this range. It only shifted the low 500 mi since last night, so hard to take serious at this point. Also moves the High from Erie to Norfolk in 6 hrs, I don't really buy that solution. This storm will all come down to timing, and that's not going to be figured out for a few more days.
  14. That was a flush hit of 6 hrs of snow followed by 10 hrs of sleet. If that ends up being our flagship storm in a winter that was generally cold from start to finish, then I want my money back lol. I don’t think we’re done, though…not as long as we keep getting these outrageous cold shots.
  15. That’s helpful, thanks. At least for BDL that’s higher end but not all-time. Guessing we backslide a bit with the coming warm up.
  16. It just wants to stay cold and wintery. Even the long range keeps shuffling cold. Not sure how long it holds but embrace it. A rare snowpack winter.
  17. There would be so many people 5 posted it would just be 7 people in there, lol
