I was in Gaithersburg around 10. The sun broke out and my truck was reading 72. Soon after my comment the clouds came over and temps dropped. It was surprisingly warm before the front.

We said goodbye to our dog today. Gentleman came at 3:00 as we chose an in-home option. We got to feed him everything he wanted and he was so happy. Hopefully he’s back to being able to walk and run on the other side again. This sucks though…absolutely sucks. Going to miss him so much.

On an unrelated note...man I'm still wondering about that other thing with the elevation and having two surfaces a single foot apart (vertically) and if snow sticks on one first. For the most part we ended up on the outside looking in. I think this is a pretty decent lightning event even for the Ohio Valley. Lots of talk about the duration and the sound of the thunder last night on the internet coming from out that way. I was really thinking that that would be us last night. Im dying for a lightning event like this.9
